pratik5705
I have installed Mac using uphuck 10.4.9. This version comes with the ntfs drivers pre built. This lets me mount my windows partition using the ntfs fuse driver in read write mode. However, when I plug my USB hard drive (ntfs partition), it mounts as read only. Is there any way to tell the OS to mount the usb drive read write as well? pratik5705
never mind. figured this one out. Mac os auto mounts the ntfs partition as read write, provided it was cleanly unmouted from windows. sort of similar to ubuntu Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57510-mount-usb-hard-drive-as-read-write/#findComment-411220 Share on other sites
