stroeh
hi there, im trying to run osx86 on a travelmate 800, but while booting from hdd to finish installation it stops at this line: using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster io buffer headers and the throbber keeps on turning. i've tried multiple configurations using 'sse2' or 'universal kernel -3', but it doesnt affect the error. is there anybody who solved this problem with the TM800, got a helping thread or just can tell me what to search for (spent the whole night with). greetings Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57459-osx86-on-travelmate-800/ Share on other sites
penguinator
hi there, im trying to run osx86 on a travelmate 800, but while booting from hdd to finish installation it stops at this line: using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster io buffer headers and the throbber keeps on turning. Which DVD version are you using? Which particular Travelmate 800 model do you have? From the HCL, I see that somebody got 10.4.6 installed on a TM 800, so you should be in luck. daveywilks
Thats so odd, I just decided today to give it a go on my old TM800 and got exactly the same error, Found your post while looking up the error. I'm using the same disk and get exactly the same error. Oh Well. I haven't got any other disks with me at the moment so I can't try anymore. If you make anymore progress can you post the results, maybe we can work this out ourselves Dave Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57459-osx86-on-travelmate-800/#findComment-411125 Share on other sites
