mvth
Is there a tutorial on how to make a bootCD to boot osx86 from a USB-HD? My laptop BIOS doesn't seem to support booting from a USB device, so I will need a bootCD that will mount the USB-HD and start osx86 on it. I have osx86 running on a HD, but I prefer to move it to an external USB-HD, and to keep my main HD for WinXP. I have been searching google, but I can not find a good tutorial, except for perhaps how to run Linux from a USB-HD. http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=269145 Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your replies. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57320-bootcd-to-boot-osx86-from-a-usb-hd/ Share on other sites
bibendum
Don't you just wanna get the Jas (or other) install DVD? You boot from that... Oh. Wait. I see what you want - you want to boot from the CD and transfer the boot to an external USB device... dunno how to do that, sorry.
