Help Help, cant get on-line 10.4.8

There was a hack once, but I thought I saved the IOCIFamliy.kext (I did) and repaired permisstions..I can't get online with either the PCI card (that always worked) or the on-board.Can someone tell me what I have to edit? For the onboard?Its a mini ATX Intel Pentium D930, using a D945GTP Motherboard.Right now of course am using the same motherboard, just using my windows HARD DRIVE and all is fine.Thanks

Now I just HOT SWAPPED to the onboard and can get online fine.Not sure what happened. It always worked in the past.I did copy some KEXT (FAMILY) files from another HD, then repaired permissions to see if that would help.No matter what, I can not get online with OS 10.4.8.Would also like some advice on using that installed to go to 10.4.10 as I really want to try the safari beta which needs at least 10.4.9 as it seems to fly on windows.Thanks again!
