I just googled here and there to find this

Intel DP35DP

http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/DP35DP/index.htm

It has 6 sata, and one e-sata.

1333 mhz FSB.

-channel (7.1) audio subsystem with five analog audio outputs and one optical S/PDIF digital audio output using the Sigmatel STAC9271D* audio codec

Intel® 82566DC Gigabit Ethernet Controller

All this for just 100$ which makes it cheaper than most motherboards i checked so far.

My only question is of course, what the chance of having a easily working system is??

I read about the sigmatels and sometimes its ok, but I dunno as this is a later version of everything..

Can one get the LAN to work at least?

I think i will go for this board for my first hackintosh.

well for now i am gonna wait until someone can say anything about the card.

The reason for this is that i havent built a hackintosh before, and dont want to do unecesarry mistakes.

So.. if anyone knows how this compares to the P5k version etc. feel free to post. :(

thanks

Shame, its a great board for the price.. but yes if you have to add another usb audio, and a nic card you might as well go with something else. I dunno what, as i look always end up coming to the price of a P5K-e which is almost as much as a bad axe 2 over here...
