Ecrid Phris
I just installed JaS 10.4.8 on my HP Pavilion w5072l. I got Pentium 4 Prescott 2.9 GHz, Intel GMA 900 128 MB, Soundcard and ethernet built in Memory 768 DDR. The problem is... It only describe my GMA as 64 MB and I can't play any DVD. I tried Itunes and it's perfectly fine, I can play mp3 and so on. But Divx Player sometimes crashed, iMovieHD also crashed. I also can't install Norton Antivirus. Anybody can help me? Microsoft Office for Mac works really fine, and so is MSN and YM. I think Final Cut Pro and Adobe Lightroom also works fine. Ecrid Phris
I surfed the web... People say that you can't play dvd if core image and quartz extreme are not supported... Somehow my Intel GMA 900 shows that it supported Core Image and Quartz Extreme (Though I don't really get what is the use of having those around...) Can any body please help me show how to play DVD? Please? I also found that iLife needs rosetta to work, since it is developed for PowerPC. And I suppose as iMovie is a part of iLife, it won't work if there is no rosetta. But my PC supported SSE3. Does it still need to emulate Rosetta. If so, does anybody knows how do you turn rosetta on?
