Apple is said announce its 3rd quarter earnings on July 25, 2007. Some statistics based on the performance thus far:

  • Recent 2nd quarter earnings climbed 88% year-on-year
  • This returned revenue of $5.26 billion
  • Net quarterly profit of $770 million
  • 1,517,000 Macs were shipped in the 3rd quarter yielding 36% growth from previous year
  • 10,549,000 iPods were shipped in the 3rd quarter yielding 24% growth from previous year

As for the inclusion of iPhone numbers (pun intended)

 

Apple has confirmed itself to be accounting for iPhone and Apple TV sales in a different way than it does the rest of its products. For these products it is aggregating results over a 24-month period, reflecting the revenue contribution of subscription payments for iPhone users.
