Gigabyte
Is it possible to install OSX on an external drive on one PC and then use it on another? I would like to install it on a small USB drive with all of the options configured, then just give it to a friend to try. I'd be using a Dell e1705 for the install, then he'd be using a Dell XPS 410. I use an external to boot OSX on my Thinkpad X60. I left the same drive plugged into my desktop (home built) and it booted OSX straight away, so I'm assuming it isn't an issue as long as the computer your using to install it can handle all of the drivers/patches needed for the other PC? hecker
I guess that could work. You should see if you friends PC requires any additional tweaking/drivers (look in the HCL) though.
