Cromwell
When I create a WLAN-Network-Connection with the Network Assistant I can enter Umlaute, but I always get the error that my Password is wrong. I checked the PW with a Win-PC and it works fine. So mistyping isn´t the Problem When I want to enter the PW using the AirportSymbol in the MenueBar I cannot enter any Umlaute, I get an error sound... I HAVE to use a WPA paraphrase with an Umlaut like the ö in "Köln". I cannot use another paraphrase because its not my network and the owner is not willing to change the paraphrase for me only. Is there a way to use Umlaute? Or does a WPA-"Translator" exist with which I can use a custom Paraphrase and it then shows me the 64 Characters WPA-Key??? Because when I re-enter the Network Assistant, I find a 64 Characters long Hex-Code. So my idea is to enter the Hex-Code. Maybe OSX "translates" the Umlaute in an other way than the router.... Or is there a file, where i can enter the WPA-Key??? Hope someone has a clue...
munky
Enter the WPA key where you would enter the passphrase.
