BJMoose
I'm doing an install of JaS 10.4.8 Intel SSE2, SSE3 on my Bad Axe 2 system to compare it to uphuck's v1.3. When I first installed JaS, everything worked right out of the box. Just had to use Diabolik's Natit Dual 7600 pkg to get my ci/qe up and running. About this Mac showed my quad processor complete with 2.67 speed. In system profiler, the processor name showed with the right speed, although it said there were 2 processors with 4 cores. Somewhere along the line, when I did the upgrade to 10.4.10, I lost my cpu recognition in both spots and now it says it's 4ghz instead of 2.67. Any ideas on how to correct this. I know I could edit the AboutThisMac.strings file and enter the info manually, but that won't change anything in system profiler. I sure would appreciate any help on this. Thanks. tomHack
Hi there, I would love to be able to answer your question.... but I am actually trying to update to 10.4.10 myself ! So far I have been unsucessful....I got a blinking cursor on a otherwise perfectly black screen My starting point is a pretty well working system with uphuck 10.4.9. How did you manage to get to 10.4.10 ?
