Perry44
I tried using AppleJack to repair disk permissions, but that also fails. I get some errors saying something about invalid records count and permissions could not be fixed. It tells me to try it again, i do, but nothing. I desperately need to partition my HDD so I can install Vista. I booted disk utility off of the OS X Disk One: Invalid Record Count Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit 1 HFS volume checked Volume needs repair Disk Utility stopped repairing "Macintosh HD" because of the following error: The underlying task reported failure on exit Any ideas? Please, anyone that can help me, i really need it. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56754-partition-problems/ Share on other sites
