mawsoccer
My sister accidently installed the Apple OSX 10.4.10 Update and OSX no longer boots. Is there any way to undo this in single user mode or something, or do I have to completely reinstall OSX? I do have the Hackintosh 10.4.10 update now. Is there any way to undo the Apple update and install the Hackintosh one without being in the OSX interface? dark4181
you'll have to reinstall 10.4.8 or 10.4.9 from scratch to get your system back, after that the hack4.10 update you have now should work and if you can turn off auto updating, that'll probably save you from having to do this again Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56735-osx-no-longer-boots/#findComment-405976 Share on other sites
mawsoccer
Well, I have already reinstalled, but thanks for the reply. It wasnt auto-update that was the problem, my sister acutlally gave it the okay to install the update, so its entirely her fault.
