Limelight
I just installed Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard" build 9A466 from a single layer DVD, Xcode and printer drivers were cut out, and now my USB 2.0 hard drives will not mount. I have tried two different hard drives and I get the same result. My FireWire hard drives mount normally as well as USB 2.0 flash drives. The USB 2.0 hard drives show up as "USB 2.0 Storage Device" on the System Profiler but do not appear in Disk Utility. I am using an eMac 1.25 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. Any suggestions? Update: I have just tried an Adaptec USB 2.0 hard drive and it did mount. Any ideas why these other two hard drives which worked under Tiger, before I installed Leopard, are not working now? yushan
The same problem with me. My USB hard disk and flash drive both can not mount. But the USB optical mouse can work normally. Only once can mount the USB hard disk after I installed the IOUSBFamily-276.4.0(Intel)-log.dmg, but after reboot the disk cnn't mount. I tried several IOUSBFamily-****(Intel)-log.dmg, but there is nothing help.
