demented_goose
Hi, I have been trying for days now to install Mac on my laptop. I am using Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF. The strange thing is that i will boot onto the disk in verbose mode it will keep stopping at the same error. If i keep rebooting, eventually and for no apparent reason it will work and i will have the Mac installer. The next time i reboot chances are i'll recieve the error again. One of the times i finally managed to boot into the installer i went ahead and installed it onto a partition of my hard drive. Now when i boot it starts darwin then i get the apple logo and everything stops. looking at it in verbose mode again i'm receiving the same error as before (which can be seen here). As with the installer this error is inconsistent and every so often i will get past it, unfortunately only to receive another different error. If anyone has any suggestions for me they would be greatly appreciated. Oh btw Its a Dell Latitude D630: core2duo T7500 2048MB ram nVidia quatro - can't remember which intel chipset as far as i'm aware ........if that helps Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56648-cpu-kernel-panic-help/ Share on other sites
