Agent-64- Posted December 11, 2005 Share Posted December 11, 2005 Hey folks, I loved the application DesktopManager for my G3-800 and it runs amazingly fast under Rosetta on my intel box - when it would load. It would sometimes completely lock the system without a grey reboot screen on startup. I decided that it would be a worthy adventure to recompile it for Intel, and I sucessfully did just that. I am attaching the application binary for all who want to use it. For those of you who don't know what it is, it is a virtual destop manager for OSX and also has some flashy desktop switching (think fast user switching cube) for the desktop environment. If you have CL and QE supported, and want a little more desktop space, this is the application for you. Let me know if you have any issues with it. The load / response time is now phenomenal that it is Intel native. Apologies for not clarifying this, but this was meant for the latest build. Next time I'll keep things to myself instead of helping the community.
