stoprocent
Hi I have Vista and OS X, Im using chain0 to boot osx and my question is : Is it necessary to press every time F8 after choosing "Mac OS X" and then select mac partition. Is there any way to skip this process after selecting Mac OS X from windows boot menu. BJMoose
From what I've read, this is dependent upon the motherboard and chipset. If your system requires the F8 thing then it just does. There's no way around it unless perhaps you were to make your OSX partition the active partition. Not sure how that would work with Vista though. NeSuKuN
you need yo edit the boot.ini file in the root of your vista partition to either select OSX as default boot volume or setting a timeout so the menu is always displayed for x seconds before running the default OS. stoprocent
There is no boot.ini file on vista. If I will set OS X partiotion as active I dont think that Windows Boot Menu will be visible.
