I was Recently over clocking my memory and i realized that my Video card memory was set to 64Mb (i have an ATI RADEON 9550) so i changed it up to 256MB and my Hac stopped booting. After changing it back to 64Mb it started just fine.

this raises some questions. is 10.4.8 (i have the 8.8.1 kernel) not using my video card to its fullest potential?

or does Mac automagically use the 256Mb of video memory even though my bios is only set to 64Mb.

Any help would be appreciated
