netryl
I have burned two copies of osx 86 for amd/intel because the l2000(special edition livestrong) has an Amd and athlon if im correct i have tried to install both copies of amd/intel without success after it says press enter to install before booting it runs processes and finally ends with saying that its still looking for root device But when i try both copies of the intel only disks i burned it gets to the logo and thats it. After that it starts the process over and over again but it never goes past the logo so i just turn the laptop off and now im asking for help. sorry i couldn't upload screens because when i try to take screens nothing happens but after i log on to Fedora Core 4 i could take screens just fine. Just to let you know ahead of time im a strict newb to command lines of terminals apple, linux and windows alike. thedarkllama
You need to install through VMWare, as well as patch a few things. Problem is that the southbridge for that computer (I'm actually posting from one right now) is not supported by OSX. Check here. This gets you most of the way through it. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...82&hl=L2000 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56541-osx-installation-on-hp-l2000/#findComment-739026 Share on other sites
