This is annoying my like crazy because I can't find any good posts of another individual having the same problem as I. I am using a motherboard with the 915p chipset. I have had OSx working on my desktop with an ide hard drive, but I replaced that hard drive with a sata drive. The problem is that no matter what I do, I cannot get the installer to see the hard drive. I have also tried installing it on a different hard drive first, but in Disk Util, the drive doesn't even show up. When I use another computer to install osx the install works fine. However, when I try to put the Hard drive into the other computer, it will boot, but hangs after a while with no useful message. It is the ich6 sata, so I thought for sure that it would work since this is one of the originally supported chipsets. Please help me :) I am going crazy.

Anyone :D ?

Nobody? :( :'(
