yes i have my priner and stuff connected.

Must i disconnect them all?

It wouldn't hurt to try :)

and is it possible for me to have windows and mac?

Why yes, it's certainly possible. But the question is: will you want to have windows after using osx ;) I removed windows after a week's experience with osx :)

Ok, that's an IDE drive then.

I made a mistake here:

I once had a problem with "waiting for..." when my cdrom was on the same cable as my IDE hdd. Moving it to the second cable and setting as master was the solution back then.

Open your computer case and make sure the cdrom and hdd are on the same cable, and set up correctly (hdd - master, cdrom - slave).

Took me a few days to get my pc sse3 ex64 processer up and running with dual boot Mac & Vista. You have to boot from dvd > the more memory the faster the install> the HD must be clean. at install it will ask select disk nothing will show. go to menu on top > utitiles select the drive and partion the way you want, make the first a mac juronal and the rest what you want, label them all. then load Mac. after your install you can install windows, ect. use easybcd 1.6 in windows to setup dual boot.

I'm new to mac 10.4.8 but i learned you can't do things easy. I have no internet yet.

hope this helps
