Temujin2012
Been trying to install the deadmoo image on a new 80GB drive in a computer with: Pentium D 820 Intel D945PSN (945p, ich7) Evga 6800gs 1 GB DDR2 DVD-rom I patched it, burned it to a dvd, and rebooted. At first it was giving me the "cannot load /com.apple.Boot.plist" error, but I added a kernel flag in that file, and it did something a little bit differently, but it was just a flashing underscore instead of anything. After researching these issues I came across what I believe to be the issue, but I just want to verify. The 80GB drive is SATA, and I read in one of the forums (I can't keep anything straight right now) that Darwin doesn't recognize SATA. True? False? Suggestions? Anything is appreciated! Thanks! Temujin Was kinda hopin my first post would be about a success, but I guess that didn't happen :-P Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5641-install-troubles/ Share on other sites
JaS
you burned the deadmoo image to a dvd and are trying to install it like an installable dvd? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5641-install-troubles/#findComment-35636 Share on other sites
Temujin2012
Correct. I tried messing around in VMware, but I got a few weird errors, and it was late, so I was pretty out of it.
