Hey InsanelyMac.

I have read alot, the FAQs the Wiki etc but I didn't find what I was looking for specificly.

Look firstly, what you guys have done and are doing is awesome, hands down probably one of the best

projects in the world.

Ok, to start off I'm a MAC lover though I have always loved my PC more, the cost, the conversion all that

Mac has just been too closed off in that area. If possible, I know you guys are busy I just have a few questions.

1. The OSx86 project allows people to install the MAC OS onto their PC?

2. What are the requirements?

3. Can you give me a brief rundown of the whole show, how the installation works, is it the exact same as Mac, etc?

4. Does my system meet the requirements?:

Just a note I have one IDE Drive and one SATA, is SATA supported?

Im excited, but confused at the same time - is this really possible? No more little applications to make a PC look like a mac,

it can actually become one?

( I have uploaded my full DxDiag file if you want to see more )

DxDiag.txt

I think here would be your best start http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page it has install guides, hardware compatibility and tips.

I have always found the best thing to do is just get a program like partition magic so you dont mess up your windows install by creating an extra partition. Just install it on the new spare partition and have a play. If bits dont work great then just try and get help for one bit at a time.

I always tend to learn more by actually giving it a go and see what happens.

Cheers

Dave
