Hi

I have a desktop pc running osx using the 10.4.6 goatsec version and it gives me all what I need including video acceleration with ati.

But now I want to install osx to my laptop wich has a nvidia geforcego card.

I have seen scripts and installators for nvidia chipset and i´m sure that my chipset should work pretty goodo n osx but... can I use my 10.4.6 or nvidia support requires a newer version? I hev a very slow connection so it can take weeks to dowload a new iso. Can anybody give a sure answer for this: need a new version or same installer works on 10.4.6?

Sorry for my english?

Thank you

I don't know whick Gforce Go card you have in your laptop, but nVidia with QE and CI always means 8.8.1 kernel. So, you will want to get 10.4.8 or better. Personally, I recommend uphuck 10.4.9 v1.3. Its your one stop shop.

Thank you.I supposed it. Ill dowload the uphuck. I saw in the text file in demonoid that it has some natit versions and "nvidia mobility" what driver should I use? My nvidia is a geforce go 5350 (equivalent to a 5200... it says information from Laptopvideo2Go)on a p4 Medion Laptop.

Thanks again

Natit should work for that chipset. What you'll need will depend on your setup. Try regular natit and if you don't get all your functionality you'll have to try the others. Some people get monitor out and no screen, vice versa, and etc...

Derdhal, if you are correct that this GPU is equivalent to a FX 5200, then it should work. The nVidia Gforce FX 5200 is supported. But, Ramm probably found a thread I didn't and is correct.
