mac86
I installed the uphuck 10.4.9 dvd. The install goes fine then reboots. At that point, at the OS selector screen (Darwin), when I select Mac osx it quickly flashes then...back to the os selector screen. I can select Windows xp no problem. Anyone figure this out? Kristjan G
I have the same problem, used uphuck 10.4.9 DVD v1.3 to install OSX86 with various different settings, I have an AMD machine 4200+ 939 on MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum.Running 4 HDD. The one I use for OSX is Primary IDE HDD partitioned in 3 parts. Part 1 is for OSX86, part 2 is NTFS and part 3 is another mac format (I tried to use that partition first to install osx86.) My Windows XP is on a SATA hdd which I can easily boot up just by changing the boot order in bios. The problem is the install goes without a problem until restart. In first reboot I get the OS select and I have 3 options: 1. Mac OSX86 2. Foreign OS NTFS 3. Mac OSX86 Just as the partitions on HDD 1 If I select 1 or 3, nothing happens. If I select 2 I get "no boot..."I have the option to press "F8" og "-v" but nothing happens if I do that Can anyone guess what is going on? I´ve read through tons of forums and I´m just lost Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56124-post-install-problems/#findComment-401466 Share on other sites
