Securify
How do I apply Maxxuss's Anti-TPM Patch files to 8F1111 DMG image or ISO. I tried replacing the two patch files "oah750" and "oah750d" to the folder "/usr/libexec/oah" using UltraISO, but the ISO refuse's to boot. My CPU is SS3 Capable, all the patches I need are Anti-TPM Patch files and no DX. I tried using several PPF's with everything included, trying to exclude what I don't need but my installs keep failing. I am trying to learn to apply some but not all of the patches released so it's easier for me in the future. I would like to stay fully native using only the ISO's images I've successfully patched. Again, any help I would greatly aprechiate, thank you. mrsavage
I have a Pentium D830 with SSE3 nx and PAE. I have seen ppf files by jas but it seems to be the emulated sse3. I just need to know how to get the anti tpm working and how to put the drivers in. macgirl
You need t use TransMac, UltraISO only work on the PC portion of the ISO image and the part needed to patch/modify is the HFS portion, the image is a hybrid of Mac/PC. Hey Mac Girl, please to meet your acquaintance, can you explain to me how to do this through Transmac? I'm going to use an Apple System at school later today to perform the steps Maxxuss suggested on his site on how to apply the two Anti-TPM files under a Terminal when using OSX. Using a MAC in this process is deviating away from how I’m trying to learn and I’m not using the Windows resources I already have. I'm not sure why Maxxuss didn't create an Anti-TPM PPF with permissions already embedded. Thank you for your replies. jrrjrr
You need to convert the dmg to an iso first, with UltraISO, and then you can change the files using Transmac. And then burn the DVD from the iso. Securify
From reading allot of threads through the search forum feature, I've figured out how to use Transmac. Transmac will only edit ISO images of your DTK_DVD, it will also retain the HFS+ format OSX depends on, using UltraISO will not retain the HFS+, and from reading I've learned this is the main reason for instantaneous rebooting when using UltraISO to rebuild an ISO. Macgirl I noticed your chipset is NF4, are there any other Patches or Extensions I need to import for the NF4 chipset other than No NX and Anti-TPM? I've been reading some threads but never able to pin point a solid solution for NF4, but will keep looking. If you can shed some light for me, it would be greatly appreciated, if anyone else with the NF4 chipset has any suggestions it would help. Thank you for the replies. macgirl
Did you read the part that I said "Jas also made various PPFs". Thoses patches contains nForce 4, VIA, Generic ATA chipsets, as AC97, PS2 extensions.
