InflatableMouse
Hey guys, I recently got a mac pro, with one 250GB disk in it (the default from apple). I put 4 300GB disks in it but the disk order is a bit annoying. There are 4 bays (1-4) and the OS numbers the disks from 0-3 (BSD disk0s1 etc). In my case Bay 1 has my bootdisk, which is disk2, bay 2 is disk0, bay 3 is disk1 and bay 4 is disk3. I tried everything in my power, but I can't get bay 1 disk0, bay 2 disk1 etc. I find this very annoying because the incorrect order reflects in the finder and disk utility. Does anyone know how I can get the numbers sequential? Thx! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56035-mac-pro-disk-order/ Share on other sites
InflatableMouse
Oke ... I'm happy, but also really confused now that a few reboots later everything is in the order I want it in? Nevermind ...
