Hi, can you help me? pls, do not delete me post.

So, I have a one disk, two partitions (XP , MAC). If i am in mac, i can quick choose in terminal a few commands like fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 ..etc.. and then restart .. It's easy. BUT.. when i am in windows XP, so i must restart, boot DVD MAC, and in terminal type the commands which i said. PLS do you anyone know some better way to change boot partition from XP to mac ??? It's very slow and long to restart, boot dvd and type in terminal..

THANKS...

Not sure if I understand your problem.

In Mac OSX, to restart, just hit the mac icon and restart. Two mouse hits. Not sure what running a terminal session gains you.

In XP, you go to the start button, then hit turn off computer, selecting restart, again two mouse hits. There may be a way to reboot a XP machine via a command prompt, but I don't know of it. I am sure you would have to shut all the running processes down. You can also just hit cntl-alt-delt from the keyboard and then select shut down, this allows you to shut off or restart the machine. Note I believe you need boot camp 1.3 to get true cntl-alt-delt key function to work.

Once in rebooting process when you get the main grey screen on boot, hit the option key and select which OS to come up into, XP or OSX.

In XP, just create a shortcut on your desktop or start menu.

I have 4:

Shutdown is "%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 0"

Restart is "%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -r -t 0"

Lock Worksattion is "%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,

LockWorkStation" Log Off is "%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe /l"
