thegodfaza
I had OS X once working on my machine. Had it updated to 10.4.9. Then I hosed my system and redownloaded the ISO. This one was different from my last one because the first one wasn't available. The install went fine but when I try to update to 10.4.9 my system wont boot. It just restarts again and again. I tried all the 10.4.9 AMD patches I can find but none of them work. Specs in Signiture. Headrush69
Please be exact, don't just say I tried all updates. What DVD is your initial install from? Which exact updates did you try? Can you start with -v and see the last message before it reboots? thegodfaza
I used the update by tube girl and by myzar. When I boot I get the streaming text while it's loading the kext's. Then my system reboots. The whole process just starts over. Oh and the dvd is listed at the bottom by the 50GB hard disk. Do a search at the pirate bay for "Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso" and you'll find it.
