Hey, I got to install OSX86 10.4.8 but towards the end of the installation, an error came up and told me to reboot the computer (Sony Vaio VGN TX630p). I rebooted the computer but everytime i boot it now,a screen comes up telling me to restart it over and over again, any suggestions? And how can I boot Windows XP?

How did you do it, mitzuoka..?!? As you know, I have the exact same problem as you, and seeing as nobody else seems to have this issue or care about it, we might as well help each other out, right?

I tried the -vesa command which did nothing. Attatching an external monitor didn't make it anymore readable. So, how did you do it?

No one else seems to "care" beacuse this can be remedied by searching. I'm terribly sorry that you can't be assed to search the forums. Or even use google.

Did you even look here?

Neither of you bothered to list any hardware, making it even harded for anyone to assist you. People can't see your computers, nor can they read your mind.

SEARCH!!!!!

DiL, of course I searched...In fact, I've scoured the whole damn internet for a solution to this problem, so please try not to jump to conclusions before slating me as a n00b. I didn't post hardware because I was waiting to see how mitzuoka solved the issue.

So, the card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700, in an lg ls50 notebook, pentium M, 768mb ram.

The thread you pointed to is fantastic, but there remains one issue - how am I supposed to install drivers and programs if I haven't even been able to install OSX yet?

Oh, and sorry about the thread hijack, mitzuoka. I'll go create my own now. Good luck.
