Is it possible to retrieve some kext files from JAS or Uphuck's Installation DVD?

I am having trouble to upgrade my system from Jas 10.4.8 PPF1 I/A to either 10.4.9 or 10.4.10. I am thinking my saved kext may not be the correct one to be working under new upgrades. If possible, where are they located on the DVD?
