mikeman23 Posted June 25, 2007 Share Posted June 25, 2007 Hello, I actually tried using the osx86, after about 2 weeks of reading and understanding how to do it. I installed 10.4.8 onto my usb external hard drive. I have a dell dimension 6000 and so everything installed correctly i ran the osx86 through my external hard drive using the f12 fxn. It shows the gray apple screen with the circular loading object and then takes me to a gray screen with nothing on it. I'm not sure if I followed all the directions right or not, I followed everything that was writting on how to install osx86 10.4.8 on a external hard drive but it does not seem to work. What should I do, any help would be greatly appreciated.
