Khuat
Hi everyone, this is my first post in this great community. Well, i tried to install the JaS OSX 10.4.8 but my SATA HDD wasn't recognized by the Disk Utility bundled with the installer. Note: My HDD has 250 GB of capacity, the unallocated partition size is 50 GB. My computer specs... Processor: PentiumD 820 (S) DC 2,8 GHz Chipset: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 for Intel processors Motherboard: ECS RC410M Motherboard HP/Compaq name: Asterope3-GL8E HDD: SAMSUNG SP2504C ATA device I'm using the JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3 Iso image to install. Is there a way to make my HDD recognizable for the disk utility? Thank you in advance.
T4RZ4N
You need to create a partition first. Something along the line of create partition primary id=af Disk Utility doesn't recognize unallocated space.

heartfelt
I've got this same problem. I see the DVD drive, and the DVD I'm using to install. Would this be a driver error? Or what? I really have no idea... Please help lol
Luk0r
Same problem here, the only drive that shows in the Disk Utility is the DVD drive. Using Uphuck 1.3.

T4RZ4N
Are the hard disk used IDE or SATA? Check if the controller on your motherboard works in http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.4.
