I've just downloaded the 8f1099 .dmg file, tried to patch it using the maxxuss ppf patcher but when i look at the files on the .iso file before and after, there is no difference?

Wierd things....

The MD5 of my file doesn't match the maxxuss one

When i convert the .dmg to a .iso using UltraISO, i lose the /Extentions folder???????

Please can someone help, i'm at a complete loss and desperate to get this working. I'll patch the whole thing manually if need be but i can't find any guides for that.

Thanks guys

If you look the ISO with UltraISO or WinRAR you can't see the patches because they were done in the HFS portion, you need to llok with TransMac.

This resulting ISO is a Hybrid image of HFS (Mac) and ISO (PC). :)

Brilliant, thanks for the swift reply, i was starting to lose hope! Checked with Transmac and all the files are indeed there, lets see if it installs now....

Just one more question...

I'm trying to install on a Pentium M without PAE, but reading some of the forums it seems like it may still work if i can get it to boot native. Only problem is, it means i can't install using VMWare.

So, any ideas as to how i get a dual boot going with windows and OS X 8f1099, installing the whole thing natively?? Can't seem to find any guides, they all keep going on about this "tiger-x86-flat.img" and not telling you how to install the new dmg.

Thanks again, and sorry if this is already in any forums.
