emvy03
ok, so i copy the image to my external HDD (16gb) and set my BIOS to load off of it. it loads fine on my pc but then the grey 'restart your pc' message comes up. i restart and it comes up again and again and again... When i load off of my laptop the restart message doesnt come up but the loading circle keeps revolving until i get fed up and turn it off. this happens even in '-x' safe mode. my pc is 2.66ghz pentium 4 with 1gb RAM and intel graphics accelerator 900 while my laptop is 1.83 ghz cenrino duo, 1 gb RAm. i am both trying to load off of my creative zen which i have configured to act as a 16gb harddrive. frizbot
You're getting a kernel panic. Set it to -V and see what the panic is. Try repairing permissions as well. If it panics in GUI, I have no idea what to do; no one is replying in my thread for more info. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=54691
