raggedjagged
Does anyone here with that motherboard haveOSX86 and XP dual booting? I have the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 motherboard, with a 320GB SATA hhard drive and i've tried many several attempts on Getting OSx86 and CP to dual boot, but I just can't seem to do it. Case 1: I've tried installing XP first, and then OSX, but XP won't boot after that (after I select Windows from the Darwin bootloader, the cursor just hangs, and i have to reset the machine). Case 2: I've also tried installing OSx86 first, and then installing XP..but after the initial instalation, XP is not able to boot up, thus leaving me no choice but to reformat the system again. Keep in mind that I need the XP partition to be the active and the boot partition (so that I can use parallels to boot into the XP partition from OS X). Another problem is that whnever I boot from my windows cd, i never see the repair option anywhere Why is this? Is it because of my Native/AHCI SATA settings in the BIOS? Or what? both my HDD and the DVD-RW drive are connected to the SATA ports. How do I get this working guys? I've really been exhausted trying this Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/55075-xp-osx86-dual-boot-on-gigabyte-ga-p965-ds34/ Share on other sites
