RealTek extension improperly used on restart

Hi all,

I have my RealTek 8169 working so far, I got the .kext from http://sourceforge.net/projects/realtekr1000/

The problem I face now is, everytime I restart, it'll say that this RealtekR1000.kext is improperly used.

If I delete the Extensions.kextcache and Extensions.mkext and restart, it'll work fine again, until I restart again.

Any idea how to solve this one?

Thanks.

yeah hope so.

currently, to make it "work", I have to delete those two files before every reboot, hehe....

heck, the first thing I do when I log in is to delete those two files, so on the next reboot, it'll still work hehe...

I've an installer version that I use which is much easier (RealtekR1000_release.pkg)..I don't have the site link but if you like I can private email it to you. All I need to do each time I log in is to double click and follow the installation instruction.
