Vista Tiger Posted June 23, 2007 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Hi, I have been looking around and still havnt found answers to my wireless problem. I am using a Dlink DWL-G520 Rev B card. And have input the ktext and the terminal stuff and the card has been recognized. Thats good . The problem is when i go to confiure it i get an error and i have looked at the card in in the devices part of tiger and it says the card is turned off. How the hell do i turn it on? Lights are flashing on the card. I hope the fix is as simple as the question. Internet is everything ey. Go to Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ open NetwrokInterfaces.plist drag it to desktop open it with text edit. now change the value of DSDName to en1. Save. Copy to SystemConfig folder. (authentic if need be) and blamo u dont even need to restart just go to network and it will recognize the card instantly (well thats what happened for me anyway ) cheers Vista tiger.
