Almost there...I think. Ethernet address hang.

Hi

 

I'm new to this, but i've got the deadmoo vmware image working before.

 

Now however, i'm trying to install the JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3 version.

 

It looks like it when ok, it got to the end of optimizing the system, then did a reboot. However, upon the reboot it took AGES after detecting the make and model of my graphics card (Nvidia 6200SE with turbocache), then told me that an ethernet address could not be found.

 

I left it for half an hour, and still saying the same message, there is no HDD activity, or DVD.

 

Any clues? Is it worth me plugging ethernet cables in, just so it can get an IP over DHCP?
