Lazlo Falconi Posted June 22, 2007 Share Posted June 22, 2007 Hey guys, I installed the JaS 10.4.8 on my computer, and after installation, the computer boots up to the grey Apple screen, then appears to go on, however it stops sending video through my video card. When I hook my monitor up through the mother board's video, it works, but my only option is 1024x768. I have a 1440x900 LCD monitor, so this creates a bit of a problem for me. It's an ATI Radeon 9200 series video card, and it works with Windows and various Linux distrobutions. I've tried installing the fixes found in the video solutions thread, but that just makes things worse. It doesn't boot at all then. Any help would be kindly appretiated, thanks. javery56 Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 i had the same problem, when you install that dvd it gives you a bunch of options that you can choose to install, including ati and nvida video cards, i deselected everything except the intel option, and only essential things, but it worked the 2nd try, so try not installing the ati and nvida kexts, and what ever the other things were.
