simian
So I've discovered that just plopping in extensions into my install disk image seriously messes everything up because the extensions.kext needs to be altered in terminal. My question is this: Is there a way to do this in Windows? I know this might be a simplistic question but I'm not sure. Everyone talks about terminal like it's on the desktop. Is this Linux only? maq
I think if you delete Extensions.kext and Extensions.mkext from System/Library, they will be rebuilt the way you want them. Just move them somewhere to be safe.. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5463-kext-the-mystery-of-installing-them/#findComment-35702 Share on other sites
Sesquipedalian
That would be true when installed on the hard drive, but I doubt it would work on a disk image.
