cyrana
Just replace something like 0x031010de with 0x014010de. It doesn't really matter, or you could add yours to the front of the list, etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5462-how-to-edit-the-nvidiakext-file-for-6600gt-%E8%A6%81%E6%80%8E%E9%BA%BC%E6%94%B9%E9%80%99%E5%80%8B%E6%AA%94%E6%A1%88/#findComment-34578 Share on other sites
addy
使用文字編輯開啟直接修改 但改kext不會有助益 還須注意檔案的權限 sorry for my first reply lost the Chinese fonts.... cyrana
You're posting in some character set that just comes across as ???, just so you know. Post in utf-8 or some latin one, please (at least I'm assuming this board supports utf-8). Also, that kext doesn't do anything, it wont give acceleration, etc., so not really much of a point. blue.mobile
I know nothing about nvidia graphics card. But I think I know how to edit kext files. 1. Copy the kext file to anywhere else out of the system directory. For example, copy it to the desktop. 2. Open the kext file with any text editor and modify it. Here you need to know the knowledge about nvidia hardware. 3. Copy the modified kext file to its original location. Here you may need root passowrd. 4. Change attribute and owner for the kext file. In the Terminal, go to the directory where your kext file locates, type the following commands: chmod 777 NVidia.kext chown root:wheel NVidia.kext Then your task is completed, just try to reboot. 兄弟,来问问题之前练练英文先。这样一个问题解决了可以让更多的人受益。 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5462-how-to-edit-the-nvidiakext-file-for-6600gt-%E8%A6%81%E6%80%8E%E9%BA%BC%E6%94%B9%E9%80%99%E5%80%8B%E6%AA%94%E6%A1%88/#findComment-36955 Share on other sites
