nystrai Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 hey everyone. im new to the forums and i havent tried to install OSX on a pc in about a year, i had to stop since last time i had no support for my ps/2 keyboard and my usb one didnt seem to want to cooperate during the beginning of setup. i bought a macbook pro a few months ago. but that was stolen from me, so i decided to buy something cheaper....something with lojack lol. I just however, purchased an E1705 (9400) with the following hardware: Core 2 Duo T7200 2GB 667 (Samsung) 120GB Sata (Hitatchi) TSST 8X DVDRW (works good but never heard of these guys lol.) Nvidia 7900GS 256MB (worried about this one) with DSUB and DVI Connections. 1920X1200 WUXGA Display Dell 1390 Wireless (Also worried about problems with this) Dell Bluetooth (not sure what card) Broadcom 440x 10/100 Ethernet. usb 2.0 and firewire. i was just wanting to know what problems or non working hardware i should expect. or if its even worth trying to do this. i love this os and i would love to see it work properly. seems as if this project has come a LONG way, good to see the effort. thank you for taking the time to read this, nystrai.
