WauloK
I got 10.4.1 installed then restored it to a 16Gb partition and deleted the 6Gb temp one, but then the 16Gb would not boot for some reason. I'd like to try 10.4.3 Just curious to get some definite answers I haven't yet found. 1. is it possible to install 10.4.3 natively on a partition on a drive which already has XP on it (as I did with deadmoo) ? I have Partition1: C: XP| Partition2: 6Gb temp for deadmoo | Partition3: 16Gb for full install of osx86 | Partition 4: extended with D: in it for XP 2. Will OSx86_10.4.3_Build_8F1111.3412703.TPB be the one to install for the above to happen? I've seen posts saying 10.4.3 will only work with VMWare and others saying they have it natively but I'm not sure if the native ones are single booting or installed 10.4.3 first then XP afterwards. Just after some clarification. Thanks. PS: As my sig says I only have SSE2 dammit! jfn
1) Yes, it's possible. My configuration looks similar (Partition 1: XP, Partition 2: Shared FAT32 space, Partition 3: OSX). If your desired partition is already HFS+, you should be able to boot your 10.4.3 installation DVD and choose "Erase and Install". Just make sure the size of the drive it shows is what you expect so you know you have the right partition. macgirl
Dont use that file, that was a "test" for give some 10.4.3 files into 10.4.1 but it is not a "real" update, some things work better after you update but some others crash.
