Vanishing ice Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 I have a Highpoint rocketraid 2310 configure as raid 5 using the official driver in my hackintosh. It worked well at the beginning. But the system couldn't find the raid 5 disk any more after a system crash and hard reset. I reintalled Jas 10.4.8 for Intel 3 times specially for that. But the same problem remains, disk disappeared after a crash! So, what could be the solution? Vanishing ice Posted June 19, 2007 Author Share Posted June 19, 2007 I've just found out that by swapping all the sata cables connecting the raid card, that raid 5 set would come back to life. But it is still very annoying that the disk would disappear after crash. Any one has a clue???
