bobbyfork Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 Hi All, I have a perfectly working version of Uphuck's 10.4.9 v1.3 OSX on a zd8000 with an ATI Mobility Radeon x600. I didn't know how to get the koverg patch working and installed a Callisto patch which got me to my native resolution of 1440 x 900. The problem is now that I do not have QE/CI enabled and I have the feeling that I must apply the Koverg patch to the original ATIRadeon9700.kext. The orignals were moved into another folder when I had a failed attempt with the Kovery - Callisto combo patch. They were moved into a z0rg folder. It appears that I must have that file in the extensions folder in order for Koverg to work. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? On a side note, does Photoshop CS3 require QE/CI to function well? Or is it only for programs like the screensavers and iTunes visualization? Thanks for the help. flow Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 before I upgraded to 10.4.9 and new kernel. CI/QE was working for me, and now they are gone. I guess it was due to the fact that the new 9700.kext doesnt like koverg patch anymore.
