broken_reel Posted June 15, 2007 Share Posted June 15, 2007 Hi I just installed OSX86 the other day with Jas' 10.4.8 DVD and I've manged to get everything on my machine working but the sound now. I've tried loading the AC97 kext file but it doesn't seem to have had any affect as the onboard sound is not even being detected. CPU Type Intel Pentium 4, 1600 MHz (4 x 400) Motherboard Name IBM (This is all I could eve probe out of it, I grabbed it from an older Netvista 6790) Motherboard Chipset Intel Brookdale i845 System Memory 1024 MB (PC133 SDRAM) Audio Adapter Intel 82801BA(M) ICH2X/M - AC'97 Audio Controller [C-0] Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
