MK1964 Posted June 11, 2007 Share Posted June 11, 2007 Hi every body A friend have a Macbook 13" due core intel based 1.83, trying to install XP using XOM, during booting from the CD it lost the mac partition, and the machine is booting only to XP, looks like it is ordinery PC, All Mac shortcuts is not working on booting, Unable to reset the PRAM & not booting from the Mac installation DVD. the machine is only using the XP MBR. sould Posted June 11, 2007 Share Posted June 11, 2007 Did you try to hold the c Key to bot from the osx install disc Hint: Don't release the C key until you see the grey apple logo. Howto for xom http://wiki.onmac.net/index.php/HOWTO maybe you destroyed also the correct partition scheme. in programm disk utility under option make sure you choose Partition for intel mac. MK1964 Posted June 12, 2007 Author Share Posted June 12, 2007 I Think I Did mentioned that all shortcuts keys on booting is not working ( Not anlu C key) and even when olding down the C key the apple logo is not coming but the machin is starting to XP directly.
