Polybius
When I split my HD in half, installed OS X on the first then XP on the second, I got both on the Darwin startup screen. I got the XP boot.ini booting to either XP or OS X but I would like to change the timeout for the OS X/Darwin startup menu. Where is the file that or program that deals with that? Thanks! Polybius
Thanks!! What is Quiet Boot? And where can I find info on this sort of thing? (So I don't have to bug you guys about it.) Also, where is the boot list contained? If I set the timeout to 0 it stops on the NTFS partition (though it doesn't continue). How can I get it to automatically go to the OS X one? macgirl
I know it is easier to answer your question, but at least you could try to search with the question you are asking. If you search "Quiet Boot" there are thread that has to do with that. Here is one of the results: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...5&hl=quiet+boot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5347-startup-options/#findComment-34164 Share on other sites
