CSSlash
Before I start, I am using the TubGirl 10.4.8 ISO patched with the 1049 ppf from TPB Okay, after I load the installer up, go to the "Select Destination" part, and go into Disk Utility; My SATA HD shows up just fine, all the partitions are there and what not, but when I choose to erase my FAT32 Partition meant for OS X, it freezes up everytime, I let it set maybe 15-20 minutes and it's still frozen, forcing me to restart. Could someone help me fix this? Or maybe give me some terminal commands that will work in formatting it?
CSSlash
Ok well it doesn't freeze up anymore, but now it says "Insufficient privileges" and stops. I did the diskpart commands in XP to set the partition to id=af , but still no luck.

jackrayers
Same error for me. I renamed the Hard Drive to 'Macintosh HD' (without the quote marks) and it worked. Thanks to whoever found this out (it wasn't me)
