natoodo
I installed Jas 10.4.9 on my computer and then used the JaS.10.4.9.Combo.Update.Intel.SSE3 to update 10.4.8 to 10.4.9. I already installed the quicktime and itunes updates but I was wondering if it is safe to install the quicktime security update and the 10.4.9 combined security update? screen.tiff
Matthew Jason
Yes, I install all updates from Softwares Update. Without any problem so far, I am using OSx86 as my primary OS, no problem. Just note, if you ever need to replace the loginwindow, then after the update, you must replace it as well. Matthew

Matthew Jason
It might need to restart for at least once, you need to let it run. If you want to really see what's going on, you could boot by hitting F8 to the boot menu, then -v for the switch. After installation, the update packages will have to install during boot. Thus, let it run. Matthew
